Seven Plays For Saturday (64% YTD)

It's not even Saturday and we're already 1-0 heading into the weekend... always a great feeling. An even better weekend is following a Thursday win with plenty more Saturday victories and improving on our 14-8-1 (64%) record. Again, we post these with a disclaimer that a few plays could be added tomorrow morning. That said, let's get to it. Our Free NCAA Football Picks for Week 3:

Oregon State -20 1/2 over Louisville

USC -12 over Minnesota

Wisconsin -12 over Arizona State

Utah State +3 1/2 over Fresno State

Florida State -10 1/2 over BYU

Purdue -17 over Ball State

Alabama -24 1/2 over Duke

It's a smaller card than we've had in Weeks 1 and 2, but again, we could be adding some plays to it. Stay tuned and best of luck!

UPDATE: Somehow we had the wrong team thrown in there by accident. We must have been so excited to throw up that Oregon picture that we had Oregon instead of Oregon State as the 20 1/2 point favorites against Louisville. The correct bet, obviously, is Oregon State, which most of you surely figured out. We'll leave the picture up there though, despite not picking Oregon this week, just to see who is paying attention.

Free NCAA Football Picks Stay Hot!

After a mediocre start, we think it's safe to say that our Free NCAA Football Picks are finally meeting expectations.

After another 2-0 week, we've now had five consecutive winning weeks, hitting 70% with a 14-6 record during that span. The picks have had just two losing weeks, although Week 5 should count as about three losing weeks all in one.

We got to 2-0 today thanks to some Pac 10 favorites doing exactly what they were expected to do--and then some. Oregon State crushed UCLA 34-6, laughing at the -7 spread in the process, while Arizona State beat those poor Washington Huskies by a final count of 39-19, covering the -14 spread.

Below is a week-by-week look at how these hot picks have been doing. You can even see where they start to catch fire!

As you see we've recovered nicely since that dreadful Week 5, when our system decided to play a cruel joke on us. Without that week, we would be sitting pretty at 63% with a 24-14 record. But since we can't just pretend that week never happened (believe us, we've tried), our only hope is to continue to pick winners as we've done in the last five weeks.
