Cardinals Give Us Free MLB Pick Win!

We'd like to say that we've had a ton of Free MLB Picks so far, but obviously, that just hasn't been the case this year. We anticipate them picking up, as we said, but it's more important that we pick up wins when we do have plays.

And we did that on Monday.

The Cardinals knocked of the Braves to put us at 1-1 for the year (can you believe we've only had two picks thus far?). It's looking like we'll have another pick by the end of the week, and maybe even two, so stay tuned.

Free MLB Pick Monday

Hopefully our Free MLB Pick system starts grinding picks out with a little more frequency, and hopefully it starts with a winner tomorrow. Here's our system play for Monday:

St. Louis Cardinals (ML -115) over the Atlanta Braves

Good luck!

Free MLB Picks Off To A Great Start

One down, plenty more to go for our Free MLB Picks.

The Cardinals beat the Pirates 9-3 to cover the runline, giving us our first win in our first game of the season. Albert Pujols homered and the Cardinals took care of the Pirates a day after losing the opener.

We should have a good number of Free MLB Picks this year thanks to some tweaking we made to the system last summer, when the picks were 63%.

Stay with us as we continue to provide you free picks... for free. Free, unless you want to donate to our cause on the right hand side of the page.

What? Can't spare a few bucks? You can if you just bet the Cardinals!

Already Our First Free MLB Pick

We didn't expect to have a Free MLB Pick so soon, but already we have value on a game.

Cardinals -1 1/2 over the Pirates

Our Free MLB Sytem went 63% (15-9) in the summer of 2008, and we hope to have some success with the system this season as well.

Thanks for opening your MLB season here at Stock Lemon!

Some MLB Futures to Ponder

We were looking at some MLB Futures today and saw a couple of frontrunners at decent value.

As many of you know, since Jenn Sterger became a fan of our Stock Lemon Facebook page, we try tie her in to anything and everything that we do that can even remotely be traced to her, hence the picture of her wearing a Cubs hat.

This, of course, ties in to this particular post because we really see value in the Cubs odds to win the NL Central. 1/2 odds don't seem like a great value now, but come July you'll be glad you got on the Cubs when you did.

With the Brewers (11/2) likely to fall from the high brought on by last year's Wild Card appearance, we see the Cardinals (3/1) as the only real threat for the NL Central crown. In the end, the Cubs are just too good to let either of these teams take the division. We're not saying they'll win it all this year, in fact we'd strongly persuade you not to make a bet that crazy, but the division should be all theirs.

Meanwhile, the AL East appeals to us as well. The division boasts the three headed monster that is the Red Sox (7/5), Rays (5/1), and Yankees (6/5). After being the odd team out last year, the Yankees made some major free agent upgrades--and for once spent their money wisely. We like the Yankees to get back to the playoffs via the division crown.

We don't have a system to support us in these predictions, just, we think, a little common sense.

Brewers Win!

The Brewers defeated the Cardinals, giving us yet another Free MLB Pick win!

Stay with us as our picks, though sporadic at this time, are on fire!

The Wait is Over!

It's been a long July but we finally have a play today.

Milwaukee Brewers +108 over the St. Louis Cardinals

Good luck!

Astros Cover!

The Houston Astros beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 yesterday, giving us a 1-1 day and making our new system 3-1.

Unfortunately, the Blue Jays were unable to handle the Orioles, thus giving this experimental new system its first loss.

We could be laying some heavy juice in the next couple of days (as we did with the Jays) as we try to figure out the value of this new system. Stay tuned!

Two More Plays For Our New System

After unveiling a new system heavily influenced by the ERA of the starting pitchers, our Free MLB Picks have won back-to-back games. Today, this system gives us two plays--if you're willing to lay some HUGE chalk on one of them.

Toronto Blue Jays ML -170 over the Baltimore Orioles

Houston Astros ML -115 over the St. Louis Cardinals

We usually don't lay this much chalk--ever--but we're trying it out just for the sake of the new system.

Good luck!

Pirates and Cardinals Go Over in Ten

It took them an extra inning, but the Cardinals and Pirates scored over nine runs, thanks to a four run Pirate inning to win it 8-4 in ten.

Going into extras at 4-4, we knew we were at least in line for a push, but once again we got more than that and secured a winning day. Our Free NBA Picks usually start heating up about this time, so let's hope this is the first of many future covers.

Bonus Free MLB Pick

Although we already have a Free MLB Pick for today, we can't pass up playing a rare over/under. We've been very liberal early in the season with our Free MLB Picks, but we feel confident with both of these picks today.

Pittsburgh Pirates/St. Louis Cardinals OVER 9

Albert Pujols, fresh off a rare day of rest, will continue his hot streak, and we think that both the Cardinals and Pirates will follow suit.

Good luck!
