Just How We Drew it Up, Free MLB Picks Are 100% in 2011

And that's the way that we expect our Free MLB Picks to go all season.

The Brewers edged the Twins, overcoming a 7-0 deficit to earn a one-run win in Minnesota and give our first Free MLB Pick of the season a winning result.

So, after a long wait, there you have it: our Free MLB picks are officially hitting 100% in 2011 (1-0).

As we mentioned, now that we have the system the way we like it, we'll be rolling out many more Free MLB Picks in the coming weeks.

As always, stay tuned.

Brewing Up a Free MLB Pick

Though we've been avoiding baseball like the plague this summer, we do like the value in this pick today:

Milwaukee Brewers -112 over the Minnesota Twins

Very manageable chalk on a pitching matchup we like, with the underrated Chris Narveson on the mound for Milwaukee.

This is our first Free MLB Pick of the year, if you can believe it, but we're hoping to get something going beginning with interleague play. Our system historically takes a couple months before we are confident in the data, and usually we make the mistake of rolling picks out too early and getting appropriately frustrated and swearing them off. Now, in addition to our newfound love of Arena Football, we intend to have plenty of summer wagers in the month of July.

You asked for more free picks, and you shall receive. Of course, that won't stop us from continuing our analysis on legal gambling, aka the stock market.

Fashion Tip For Minnesota Sports Teams

Sports teams in Minnesota really need to learn how to dress.

In the MLB, Twins catcher Joe Mauer wears his hat backwards while catching, which despite being more practical for his position due to the catchers mask, still looks silly.

In the NBA, former Timberwolve (Timberwolf?) Marko Jaric wore his jersey backwards.

In the NFL, Viking Charles Gordon tops them all. On Sunday against the Packers, Gordon wore his entire leg backwards.

Ouch.

No matter how bad of a day you had in the NFL, this should serve as a reminder that it can't be that bad. Of course, we wish Gordon a speedy recovery.

White Sox Live to Play Another Day

With the White Sox 8-2 victory over the Tigers, Chicago advances to host a one-game playoff with the Twins tomorrow--all made possible thanks to an Alexei Ramirez Grand Slam to break a 2-2 tie.

More importantly, the Sox win gives our Free MLB Picks a 15-9 record since the Summer, which is 63%. Though we didn't have too many plays over that span, we sure made them count.

Remember to make us your home for the 2008 MLB Playoffs, as we'll continue to pick winners all October long.

The White Sox Have Huge Value Today

We haven't had a Free MLB Pick since finishing up our Summer system at 14-9 (61%), but this one is impossible to pass up.

White Sox ML -216 over Tigers

It's a lot of juice to lay but in this unique circumstance you absolutely have to take the Sox. The White Sox have everything to play for tomorrow, while the Tigers probably won't even want to be there.

With a win, the Sox would force a one game playoff--in Chicago--with the division leading Twins to decide who goes on to face the Rays in the playoffs. With a loss, their 2008 season is over. Meanwhile, the Tigers season ends tomorrow either way.

Lay the juice on Ozzie Guillen's troops, they'll get the job done tomorrow and keep their hopes of winning another World Series ring alive.

Another MLB Under Gives Us Perfect 3-0 Day!

The Rockies beat the Twins 3-2 tonight, scoring less than half of the 10.5 runs they needed to spoil our perfect day.

This 3-0 day proves that our Free MLB Picks are right on par with where they've been at this point in the season in previous years, and if that's the case we should be in for another profitable season.

We have a Free NBA Pick on the way, so stay with us as we try to build on our 8-2 NBA record in the last 10 games.

Three Free MLB Picks For Saturday

We told you our Free MLB Picks system usually starts churning out winners in the middle of May, and part of that is due to our success in recent years in interleague play. With that in mind, we have three interleague MLB games today, and with no NBA Playoff action, they aren't a day too soon.

Florida Marlins ML (-122) over the Kansas City Royals

Cleveland Indians/Cincinnati Reds UNDER 8.5

Colorado Rockies/Minnesota Twins UNDER 10.5

Good luck and enjoy the Saturday baseball! We'll be back with another hot Free NBA Pick for tomorrow.

MLB Play of the Day

Again we have one system play in MLB, hoping to recover some of the juice we layed yesterday.

Minnesota Twins ML (+120) over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. What a mouthful.

Good luck!

(And yes, we do mean ML today)
