We'll take it as a bad sign that we have so many plays this early, but nevertheless, here are two more Free MLB Picks for today.

We're betting on the Braves after betting them yesterday, hoping that they don't pull a Marlins on us and lose again. It's already make or break time for this year's system, so play these things with caution. We don't trust them too much at the moment.

Rays of Hope For Our System

Our new-ish Free MLB Pick system has not lived up to expectations at 7-6 coming into today, but maybe our luck is about to turn. B.J. Upton and the up-and-coming Tampa Bay Rays beat the Florida Marlins 7-3, improving the system to 8-6 in case your addition skills aren't up to par. We have another in-state inter-league rivalry game pending between the A's and Giants, and certainly wouldn't mind a 2-0 day to spark a nice winning streak out of this system.

Marlins Make it Two for Two

We were a little reluctant to post three Free MLB Picks, since they are yet to really heat up yet, but all three plays fit our system, so we went ahead and posted them all--and it looks like it paid off.

With one MLB game still in progress, our Free MLB Picks are two for two so far, thanks to the Marlins 7-3 victory over the Royals. This win (highlighted by a five run seventh inning)guarantees our Free MLB Picks a winning day regardless, but we wouldn't mind taking all three of these system plays to the bank.

We told you our Free MLB Picks system usually starts churning out winners in the middle of May, and part of that is due to our success in recent years in interleague play. With that in mind, we have three interleague MLB games today, and with no NBA Playoff action, they aren't a day too soon.

Friday Free MLB Pick

The weekend is here, and we've got a Free MLB Pick before diving into tomorrows NFL Draft. Our Free MLB Picks are off to a slow start, but we expect to turn it around very soon.

Milwaukee Brewers -1 1/2 (+130) over the Florida Marlins

Prince Fielder and the Brewers have been off to a slow start as well in terms of offensive production, but our numbers show that that will change tonight in the first game of this three-game series.

Mets Win!

The Mets beat up on the Marlins, 7-2, giving us a Free MLB Pick win and improving our record to 1-1 on the young season.

As was pointed out in the comments (and can clearly be seen on that post) we accidently wrote ML instead of RL while we were hurrying to post our play. We took the run line for -135, which is about as high as we go as far as laying chalk. Since we posted the play as money line, though, that's how it will reflect in our record.

Since units are more important than the record in MLB, that's how we will keep our record. So today, we bet 2 units to win 1, so we went 1-0. Had we lost, we would be 0-2 on the day. I'm sure our smart followers will not have a problem figuring that out.

Sorry about the confusion. We will also try to post the chalk that we are laying on any given play in the future.

Either way, a win is a win, and it's good to have baseball back.
