Betting on the NBA Draft

The NBA Draft is tomorrow, which means you can finally bet on something other than baseball! If you have the chance, take any of these bets, because this is how tomorrow's NBA Draft order will go.

1. Chicago Bulls- Derrick Rose
There's no way the Bulls pass on the Memphis point guard.

2. Miami Heat- Michael Beasley
Despite rumors that the Heat might take Mayo, Beasley has too much value to pass on.

3. Minnesota Timberwolves- O.J. Mayo
The Timberwolves will gladly scoop up whatever the Heat pass on.

4. Seattle SuperSonics- Jerryd Bayless
Seattle's been enamored with Bayless for months.

5. Memphis Grizzlies- Kevin Love
The Grizzlies, like the rest of the NBA, are truely in Love with this kid.

As the draft nears, these odds might get worse and worse, so act now! As we type, the odds on Rose to Chicago are already down to -600.

Rockets and Sonics Go Under

The Rockets beat the Sonics, 103-80, combining for just 183 total points to hit the under in tonight's game.

The under gives us another Free NBA Pick victoy, improving our record to 35-19 on the year, which is 65%.

One NBA Play Today Too

One Free NBA Pick today as we look to rebound from yesterday...

Rockets/Sonics Under 194

Our picks are 34-19 for 64% on the season.

Good luck!

Sonics and Timberwolves Go Over for 3-0 Day

Al Jefferson's Timberwolves beat Kevin Durant's Sonics 121-116 Saturday night, scoring a total of 237 points in the game. Those 237 points were about 38 1/2 more than we needed to cover the cover.

This win gives us a perfect 3-0 night, with our Free NBA Picks going 2-0 and our Free NCAA Basketball Picks going 1-0.

Through our first 40 games of the NBA season, Our Free NBA Picks have gone an impressive 29-11, which is an astounishing 73%. In the last 17 games, the picks are 15-2, or 88%. We'll keep the free winners coming so long as you keep on coming back.

NBA Action Tonight, Too

In addition to our Free NCAA Basketball Pick tonight, we have a Free NBA Pick as well.

Minnesota Timberwolves/Seattle SuperSonics OVER 198.5

As we've mentioned, in order for over/unders to be considered Free NBA Picks, they have to be really strong leans in our system, so this is a fairly large play. According to our calculations, the over/under for this game should be closer to 210.

With a lot of young scoring talents like Kevin Durant, as well as Al Jefferson and Earl Watson pictured above, these two teams should light up the scoreboard.

Our Free NBA Picks are 27-11 this season, which is a very good 71%, and are 13-2 in the last 15. We just had a five game winning streak snapped, and an eight game win streak before that, so we're looking to start another winning streak with this over.

We also have a small lean on the Detroit Pistons -2.5 over the San Antonio Spurs, but are not sure if we will include it as a Free NBA Pick. Look into this game for yourself, and if you like it, play it at your own risk. We will be out all evening, but we will try to throw in an update as to whether or not it is a Free NBA Pick tonight.

UPDATE: We have decided to make the Pistons -2.5 a Free NBA Pick, so play it with confidence. We know the game tips off in about 15 minutes, but this is the quickest we could get to a computer with this update, so forgive us if you didn't get enough time to play this one.

Going for Nine in a Row Tonight

We're hitting 71% and are on an exceptional eight game winning streak in the NBA, and we hope to make it nine tonight.

Minnesota Timberwolves -7 over the Seattle SuperSonics

The T-wolves record might not show it, but this team plays hard and shouldn't have a problem picking up a W and the cover against the Sonics tonight. Al Jefferson should be watching a lot of his own highlights on the jumbotron tonight.

Let's go get nine in a row!

Take the Rookies Tonight

We've got a lot of picks out there tonight, and we've decided to go ahead and add another one. Although the NBA doesn't have any regular season games, the Rookies are playing the Sophomores in the annual game before the All-Stars play on Saturday.

Rookies +13 over the Sophomores.

We like the Sonics Kevin Durant and the rest of the rooks to, at the very least, cover the spread in this one, but winning straight up is not out of the question.
