Two, yes two, Free NBA Picks Tonight

Our Free NBA Picks have started this season with very sporadic plays, but tonight we have two whole picks!

Cavaliers -5 1/2 over the Bobcats

Pistons -4 over the Clippers

Good luck!

Two More Free NBA Picks

Our Free NBA Picks system is finally starting to give us some valuable picks. After just four Free NBA Picks in the first two weeks of the season, we'll now have four picks in the last two days with two more plays today.

76ers -4 over the Timberwolves

Nuggets +1 over the Spurs

Today's picks are led by a couple of new faces in new places. Elton Brand signed with the Sixers in the off-season, while Chauncey Billups was shipped from the Pistons to the Nuggets in exchange for Allen Ivereson.

Good luck!

We Still Like the Pistons

Call us crazy, but even down 3-2 in the series to the Boston Celtics, we like the Detroit Pistons to come out on top not only in Game 6, but in the series to advance to the NBA Finals

Detroit Pistons -5 over the Boston Celtics

Rip Hamilton will be splitting Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett for easy buckets yet again tonight, as he will suck it up and play as the Pistons try to avoid elimination.

Good luck!

Pistons Are the Play Tonight

The Free NBA Picks are rolling at 8-1 in the last nine and we have another play tonight.

Detroit Pistons -5 over the Boston Celtics

The Celtics are 0-6 on the road in the playoffs, and until they prove they can win away from home, we're going to keep betting against them (and winning).

Good luck!

Pistons Cover for Another Free NBA Pick Win!

The Pistons handed the Boston Celtics their first home loss of the playoffs with a 103-97 win, covering the +5 spread along the way.

The win ties the series at 1-1, but more importantly, it gives us another Free NBA Pick win, making our system 10-3 in the last 13 games and 7-1 in their last eight.

Overall, our Free NBA Picks are 13-12 in the playoffs, recovering nicely after a horrible start. They are 53-32 including the regular season, which is a modest 62%.

Check back tomorrow (and the day after that, and the day after that, etc.) for more winners--at the low, low price of free.

NBA Playoff Picks Remain Hot

Our Free NBA Picks are back on track at 9-3 in their last 12, and we've got another one tonight.

Detroit Pistons +5 over the Boston Celtics

Rasheed Wallace and the Pistons have started slow in every series thus far, but usually rebound and play much better in Game 2. Our numbers indicate that they should do just that again tonight against Kevin Garnett and the Celtics.

Good luck!

MLB Tonight, NBA Futures

Despite the deciding game seven of the Hornets and Spurs being played tonight, we do not have a play on this game that fits our system. We do, however, have one MLB play for tonight.

Chicago Cubs -1 1/2 (+125) over the Houston Astros

Lance Berkman and the Astros are hot, but Alfonso Soriano and the Cubs are hotter. Our Free MLB Picks went 3-0 on Saturday, and we expect to add another win to our record.

In addition to the MLB play tonight, we have some NBA Future Bets on the Pistons/Celtics Eastern Conference Finals. These are not Free NBA Picks, but are plays we are making nonetheless. They are:

Pistons to win the Series (+115 at Bodog)

Will the Celtics Win a Road Game in this Series? NO (+165 at Bodog)

So there you have them. We like the Pistons to advance the NBA Finals and the Celtics road woes to continue.

For tonight, though, just the Cubs to beat up on the Stros. Good luck!
UPDATE: We took the Pistons in the series at +115 odds.

Magic Cover in a Close Playoff Loss

Despite being the first team eliminated from the second round of the NBA Playoffs, the Magic's 91-86 loss was not for naught.

By losing to the Pistons by just five points, the Magic covered the +7 spread, giving our Free NBA Picks their sixth win in the last eight games.

A late lay-up by Keith Bogans helped us avoid the push and finally grab a cover in a close game. Our previous three games decided by two points or less were all one-point losses, so it's nice to have the ball finally bounce our way again.

On a side note, the home teams in the second round of the playoffs are now a combined 16-1, with an earlier Magic loss to the Pistons in Orlando serving as the lone home defeat.

The Free NBA Picks are picking up steam and returning to the production they showed in the regular season, so enjoy the ride!

Do You Believe in Magic?

We have one Free NBA Pick today in the Easter Conference.

Orlando Magic +7 over the Detroit Pistons

Dwight Howard and the Magic are playing for their playoff lives, trailing Rasheed Wallace and the Pistons 3-1 in the series. We think the Magic will come out firing in this one.

Good luck!

That's More Like It!

Our Free NBA Picks appear to be back on track, with the Detroit Pistons covering and going under against the Orlando Magic today.

Thanks to Rip Hamilton and company, we've now won our last three bets, and hopefully we can keep this momentum going for the Boston Celtics/Cleveland Cavaliers match-up later tonight.

Four Eastern Conference Playoff Picks!

After our Free NBA Pick system finally picked a winner again last night, our faith in said system has been restored.

How much do we believe that our system will still hit at the 67% rate it hit during the regular season? Enough to place four bets on today's Eastern Conference Action. Yes, we said four.

According to the system, all four plays are solid values, so we're going to put our faith in our Free NBA Picks and get a little crazy with an unprecedented four play day. If you can't tell from Lemmy's playoff bracket shown above, the four plays are:

Boston Celtics +2 over the Cleveland Cavaliers

Boston Celtics/Cleveland Cavaliers UNDER 177

Detroit Pistons +5 over the Orlando Magic

Detroit Pistons/Orlando Magic UNDER 188

Either the Pistons or Celtics will likely represent the East in the NBA Finals, and we like both of them getting points in low-scoring contests tonight.

Good luck!

Two Free NBA Picks Wednesday

We've hit a bit of a rough patch with our Free NBA Playoff Picks, and we're a little confused as to why. We're hesistant to tinker with the system at the moment, because according to our calculations, the current formula should be producing winners at the 65-70 percent clip we have become accustomed to.

It is likely that this current string of bad luck is nothing more than that--bad luck. We've missed three covers by one point in the last week, and think the basketball will start bouncing our way again in a matter of time. Like right now.

Even with this mini-losing streak, our system shows two plays with solid value tonight, and we're going to continue to weather the storm with confidence that our system will prevail as it has so many times in the past.

Utah Jazz +7 over the Los Angeles Lakers
Detroit Pistons/Orlando Magic UNDER 187

Carlos Boozer and the Jazz should close the gap on Lamar Odom's Lakers, and if nothing else, keep it within seven. Out East, we expect a low scoring game, and plenty of that defense seen above by Rasheed Wallace on Hedo Turkoglu.

Good luck and let's get this thing back on track!

Another Free NBA Playoff Pick

We fell short last night, but we have a solid play tonight. Our playoff record might not indicate it yet, but our system is right where we want it to be, and the Free NBA Picks will start producing in the playoffs sooner rather than later.

Orlando Magic +6 over the Detroit Pistons

We like Dwight Howard and the Magic to keep Game 2 tight after falling in Game 1 to Rasheed Wallace's Pistons.

Our overall Free NBA Pick Record is 43-25 including playoffs, which is a modest 63%. Good luck!

Pistons Cover, too

We had posted a lean on the Pistons -2.5 over the Spurs earlier tonight, but were orignally unsure if we would make it a Free NBA Pick. After mulling over the figures for a little while and configurating the data from our computer, we decided to make it an official play.

Hopefully everyone was either able to take this pick based on our original lean, or they noticed the update at the bottom of the post, because Detroit got the job done. Rip Hamilton and the Pistons were able to blow by Tony Parker and the Spurs, 84-80, giving us another Free NBA Pick win.

The win boosts our record to 28-11, or 72%. That also makes the picks 14-2 in their last 16.

NBA Action Tonight, Too

In addition to our Free NCAA Basketball Pick tonight, we have a Free NBA Pick as well.

Minnesota Timberwolves/Seattle SuperSonics OVER 198.5

As we've mentioned, in order for over/unders to be considered Free NBA Picks, they have to be really strong leans in our system, so this is a fairly large play. According to our calculations, the over/under for this game should be closer to 210.

With a lot of young scoring talents like Kevin Durant, as well as Al Jefferson and Earl Watson pictured above, these two teams should light up the scoreboard.

Our Free NBA Picks are 27-11 this season, which is a very good 71%, and are 13-2 in the last 15. We just had a five game winning streak snapped, and an eight game win streak before that, so we're looking to start another winning streak with this over.

We also have a small lean on the Detroit Pistons -2.5 over the San Antonio Spurs, but are not sure if we will include it as a Free NBA Pick. Look into this game for yourself, and if you like it, play it at your own risk. We will be out all evening, but we will try to throw in an update as to whether or not it is a Free NBA Pick tonight.

UPDATE: We have decided to make the Pistons -2.5 a Free NBA Pick, so play it with confidence. We know the game tips off in about 15 minutes, but this is the quickest we could get to a computer with this update, so forgive us if you didn't get enough time to play this one.

Pistons Make it Five in a Row

With a 127-100 pounding of the Bucks, the Pistons gave our Free NBA Picks their fifth consecutive win, boosting the record to 19-9, or just about 68%. What's more, all three wins since the All-Star Game have been blowout victories, including tonight's easy cover of the -12 spread.

Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons took care of Charlie Villanueva and the Bucks without too much of a problem, and for all intents and purposes had this one won by halftime.

The Picks are hotter than ever, so check back daily as the winners keep on coming. As a matter of fact, go ahead and bookmark this page for the easiest access to the winners.

Friday, February 22, 2008

Pistons Have Good Value Tonight

Our Free NBA Picks are hitting nearly 67% at 18-9, including a four game winning streak, and we expect the streak to continue with another winner tonight.

Detroit Pistons -12 over the Milwaukee Bucks

These two teams met in Milwaukee on Wednesday and the struggling Bucks pulled out a surprise victory, so Chauncey Billups and the Pistons should be ready to extract revenge on Mo Williams and the Bucks as the teams head back to Detroit tonight.

Three Free NBA Picks!

If you've been following our Free NBA Picks daily, you know that they've hit 12 of their last 17 for an astounishing 71%. You also know that we usually have one play per day, except for the rare instances when we have two. Today, however, we have a grand total of three Free NBA Picks! They are:
Los Angeles Lakers +1 1/2 over the Orlando Magic

Detroit Pistons -11 over the Portland Trail Blazers

and our play of the day...

Toronto Raptors -9 1/2 over the Los Angeles Clippers

As always, we put one unit on the regular plays and two units on our play of the day. To constitute as a play of the day, the computer must show a heavy advantage one way or the other, and our numbers show us that the Raptors should actually be favored by 14 1/2.

Chris Bosh and the Raptors should have a field day with the Clippers, who are in complete disarray at this point.

For our other picks, we feel pretty confident in Rasheed Wallace and the Pistons putting the up-and-coming Trail Blazers in their place tonight. Wallace spent a better part of his career in Portland, so there's extra motivation for anybody looking at some Rasheed Wallace prop bets.

Finally, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers should be the favorites in Orlando tonight. After losing a tough one to the Hawks the other night, Kobe and the Lake Show will get back on track at the expense of the Magic.

Good luck and enjoy the three play day!

Free NBA Picks

We have our first NBA free picks of the year today, using a computer system that takes in account every statistical category to find out who has the edge in any given match-up.

The computer likes the Philadelphia 76ers +7 over the Detroit Pistons, and we put one unit on that.

The computer also likes the Phoenix Suns -8 tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves, which is our play of the day and thus worthy of two units.

We are very picky with this system we've been developing over the course of the last three years, so picks will be few and far between, but no doubt profitable.

Again, that's Philadelphia +7 and the play of the day Phoenix -8. Good luck.
