Hey Look! An Episode of The Lemmy Channel!

It's been a while, but we finally rolled out another edition of The Lemmy Channel over at the host site of our northern friends, The Bucky Channel. Check it out to read our thoughts on the red hot Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers up in Wisconsin.

For those of you who don't care about our arrangement with a site in Wisconsin that requires us to write about the state, we'll have the other 49 covered for you here at Stock Lemon.

We'll also have a recap of our weekend coming soon, which was just above average but can be considered a huge success after last weekend.

Stay tuned... unless you're using the clicker to switch over to The Bucky Channel.

On This Edition of The Lemmy Channel...

As we mentioned earlier this week, The Lemmy Channel is back, but with a few changes. First off, for those of you that couldn't care less about the Wisconsin sports teams that we talk about to appeal to The Bucky Channel's audience, we won't be providing much more than a link to our analysis. Secondly, rather than sending the "episodes" to The Bucky Channel via e-mail, we are posting them to their site ourselves as a part of their expanded 2.0 staff.

So, if you want to find out what a naked picture of Don Draper's new fiance has to do with this week's Lemmy Channel (not much), or you want to read a little analysis on the Mad Men in the Packers/Vikings game on Sunday night, check out The Lemmy Channel over at The Bucky Channel.

Stock Lemon's Role in The Bucky Channel Relaunch

For those familiar with this site, you know that we frequently link to and are frequently linked by the fine folks at The Bucky Channel.

It's a curious relationship between our sites as we are both simply trying to provide our readers with more content that we feel they would be interested in reading. The reason we have this kind of relationship with them is because, honestly, they were some of the first people to help us out when we were new to the blogging game, and we did the same for them. And neither of us has forgotten it.

So, as you wipe those sentimental tears away, we're proud to say that we have played a small part in what is becoming The Bucky Channel 2.0. Regular Bucky Channel readers will notice a change in layout, and that change will come with a whole new staff of writers joining the team.

And we are one of them... kind of.

As we have done in the past, we'll be providing content through a semi-regular, semi-forgotten about feature called The Lemmy Channel, in which we look into interesting tidbits relating to their home town teams up in Wisconsin. We'll look at different betting trends as they pertain to the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Bucks and Milwaukee Brewers (and maybe even the Milwaukee Iron of the Arena Football League) to cater to their readership.

We'll post tidbits about our analysis here, with the main content gracing the pages of The Bucky Channel 2.0.

So welcome, Wisconsinites, for those of you who didn't make it over for the first few installments of The Lemmy Channel. Please bring your finest beers and cheeses to Stock Lemon (or donate some cash to us using the Paypal icon on the left, so that we can purchase our own!).

Special Edition of The Lemmy Channel

Everybody's favorite program is back for a special edition. This week on The Lemmy Channel, our friends at The Bucky Channel linked to our 2009 NFL Mock Draft to see what we had to say on their hometown Packers pick.

Rather than use this space to re-hash what we said in this post, we thought we'd alert you to a cool little game they're playing over at The Bucky Channel called Bucks Survivor

It's an obvious take on the hit show, Survivor, but in TBC's version they allow their readers to vote off members of the Milwaukee Bucks. The team is split into two "tribes," with immunity granted to one player on that week's losing tribe. You don't have to be a Bucks fan to vote off your least favorite players of the team, so go ahead and check them out and follow the hit game that is sweeping the nation.

While you're over there, be sure to leave a comment urging The Bucky Channel to join twitter. Here's what they said last month about the social networking craze:

Twitter sucks so much, it's a stupid trend that is pointless and stupid and doesn't contribute anything beneficial to society and is a waste of time and will fade out within six months and is not worth the trouble to either update or check out people's Twitters. How people are making money off of something so stupid blows my brains and now I must move on before I quit doing The Bucky Channel right this very moment, that is how much I hate Twitter.
And, of course, be sure to follow Lemmy's twitter account if you aren't already.

The Lemmy Channel Moves Into Prime Time

Nevermind the ratings success of the Super Bowl, we've got our own Smash hit right here. Judging by the fantastic comments by yoga and meditation and aftershave balm on our last Lemmy Channel post, we can tell that the readers are just loving The Lemmy Channel, which is why we have moved it into prime time!

This week on The Lemmy Channel, we tell you why you should fade the Milwaukee Bucks, the hometown team up in Wisconsin.

We also advise The Bucky Channel's readers to stop by and check out our Pro Bowl pick before participating in TBC's 2nd annual Pro Bowl Live Blog on February 8 at 3:30 central time.

We'll do the opposite here and advise you to participate in TBC's 2nd annual Pro Bowl Live Blog on February 8 at 3:30 central time after checking out our pick here at Stock Lemon.

Stop on by The Bucky Channel for more on Wisconsin sports as well as, before we forget to mention it, their 2nd annual Pro Bowl Live Blog on February 8 at 3:30 central time.

A Super Episode of The Lemmy Channel

As we continue to cover all things Super Bowl prop betting, we realized something.

We wouldn't be your main squeeze on 2009 Super Bowl 43 Prop Bets if we didn't produce an episode of The Lemmy Channel on the topic.

And so, you can check out the Super edition of everybody's favorite hit series, The Lemmy Channel, right here, hosted by the equally Super folks over at The Bucky Channel

Special MLK Edition of The Lemmy Channel

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., who once said, "I have a dream, that the Lemmy Channel will air a special Monday edition in honor of me," we have done just that.

This week, Lemmy is airing a day early at The Bucky Channel, in order to give some advice on tonight's game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Portland Trail Blazers.

As always, you'll have to go over to The Bucky Channel to see what advice Lemmy has for the folks up in Wisconsin. Or, over in Wisconsin.

Over and out.

The Lemmy Channel Is Back For Season Two!

It's official: The Lemmy Channel has been renewed for another season after copying The Office by airing just a few episodes in its first run.

If you're unfamiliar with The Lemmy Channel, it's a weekly posting by Lemmy and the rest of us at Stock Lemon invading The Bucky Channel's turf.

Since we focus on sports wagering and The Bucky Channel focuses on Wisconsin sports, The Lemmy Channel is about The World of Sports Wagering from Wisconsin's perspective.

As we did back in April with the Milwaukee Brewers, we'll take a look at some of the betting trends surrounding the Milwaukee Bucks.

Tune in to the rest of the Season Two Premiere right here on The Bucky Channel.

Special Tuesday Lemmy Channel Episode

To go along with some of the interests of The Bucky Channel's readers, The Lemmy Channel was moved to today rather than its regular prime time slot on Monday.

More specifically, this week's edition highlights the Free MLB Pick of the Milwaukee Brewers over the Toronto Blue Jays, which starts momentarily.

With that, we end our five episode premiere of The Lemmy Channel. Fear not, though, as The Lemmy Channel will resume on The Bucky Channel at a later date.

This Week On The Lemmy Channel...

With no NBA Finals action and a small slate of MLB today, this Monday is the perfect time to tune into The Bucky Channel for the latest episode of The Lemmy Channel!

This week, Lemmy reiterates his position on the unders in Milwaukee Brewer games, which are hitting over 61% on the year, including 10-3 since Lemmy advised The Bucky Channel's readers to go under on their local team.

Don't Change That Channel!

By now, we're sure you're familiar with our newfound relationship with the fine folks over at The Bucky Channel. We've teamed up with them to create a weekly feature on their site, aptly titled The Lemmy Channel, in which we offer their readers betting insight on the world of sports (particularly from Wisconsin's perspective).

Last week, we stated that both their beloved Milwaukee Brewers and the under in Brewer games were good bets for the week, and since then both have gone 6-1 with tonight's game pending. Tonight's Brewer game against the Arizona Diamondbacks also happens to be our first Free MLB Pick with the new system.

Check out this week's episode here, and be sure to check back every Monday as we try to help the people of The Dairy Land make some extra cheese. And money.

Tune Into The Lemmy Channel

It's Monday, folks, which can only mean one thing: a new episode of The Lemmy Channel! Our recent partnership with the fine folks over at The Bucky Channel means that you'll get a new episode of Lemmy-filled fun every Monday over at their site.

This week, Lemmy gives some betting tips on The Bucky Channel's beloved Milwaukee Brewers. While they might not be winning right now, there's still a way to win money on Brewers' games. Click here to see this week's episode, and in case you missed it, click here for The Lemmy Channel's debut from last week.

Enjoy your Memorial Day, and whatever you do, don't change the channel!

The Lemmy Channel Premieres

Some like their beer with a lime, but in Wisconsin, they prefer a lemon. Although he may be a little fruity for some, our very own Lemmy is quickly becoming a recognizable figure in the world of sports... particularly in the Badger State.

We've teamed up with our friends at The Bucky Channel to begin a weekly feature hosted on their site titled "The Lemmy Channel." There, Lemmy will squeeze out some insight on the juicy picks for the upcoming week, as well as recap some of his previous adventures. Check out the debut edition here.

So why The Bucky Channel? Well, they've shown an interest in our site from the very start, and after tailing us for our impressive Free NBA Pick run in the regular season, let's just say they owe us some free publicity. Aside from that, we enjoy reading their opinions (even when they aren't about us) and would recommend them to anyone who enjoys sports, regardless of who you root for.

Don't worry, though, this doesn't mean that we'll start being partial towards The Bucky Channel's home town teams (there's no way we're touching the Brewers right now).

So check out The Bucky Channel, keep checking out Stock Lemon, and keep cashing those winning checks!
