Mavs and Kings For Our Seventh Straight Win

Our Free NBA Picks have been absolutely on fire having won six straight, and we're leaping for our seventh consecutive NBA win tonight.

Dallas Mavericks/Sacramento Kings Over 202

Dirk Nowitzki and the Mavs should get into a shootout with Brad Miller and the Kings tonight, and we love this over/under at just 202 points. The addition of Jason Kidd helps the Mavs push the ball up the court much faster than they have been, and the books haven't quite adjusted to their faster pace. Oh, and the Kings will score sometimes, too.

Our overall Free NBA Picks record is 20-9, which is about 69%, so make this pick with confidence. Good luck!

Wisconsin Takes Care of Michigan St.

The Wisconsin Badgers took care of the Michigan State Spartans by a count of 57-42, easily covering the five point spread. It looks like we really have our Free NCAA Basketball Picks back to where they should be, and just in time for March Madness.

Don't forget to make Stock Lemon your home for the NCAA Basketball tournament, as we'll have a play on... Every. Single. Game.

Can't wait unitl March? Don't worry, neither can we. There will be more free picks tomorrow, so make sure to check us out. After tomorrow, there will not be any Stock Lemon Free Picks on February 29 for at least another four years.

Badgers Have Huge Value Tonight

Bo Ryan and the Badgers are one of the toughest teams at home and we have them as being a great value pick tonight.

Wisconsin Badgers -5 over the Michigan State Spartans

We have tweaked our Free NCAA Basketball Picks and thought we had a winner last night in Kentucky until they let Ole Miss close the gap at the end. Still, Kentucky was the right play last night, and we should finally get our Free NCAA Basketball Picks to where they need to be with a win by the Badgers tonight.

Good luck!

New and Improved Free NCAA Basketball Picks

We've tinkered with our system for the Free NCAA Basketball Picks, and we believe we finally have it down--and just in time. We've got a very strong lean tonight.

Kentucky -5.5 over Ole Miss

Kentucky has won eight of their last nine and is facing and Ole Miss squad that has won just one road game all year. Ashley Judd's team should have no problem covering the spread and coasting to an easy victory tonight. Good luck!

No Plays Today

In case you didn't notice, we didn't have any free picks today. The value just wasn't there and our policy is to never force a pick. We want to continue to hit around 70%, so we won't be posting plays just for the sake of posting plays.

That being said, there is a lot of value on the board tomorrow, so it looks like we will definitely have a free pick.

Spurs Make it Six Straight!

After scoring just five points int he first quarter on 1-17 shooting, the Spurs came back with a comeback win and cover against the Hawks tonight. The

89-74 win took care of the -12 spread and improves our Free NBA Picks to 20-9, which is nearly 69%.

Tim Duncan and the Spurs were able to plow over Marvin Williams and the Hawks by outscoring them by 25 points in the final three quarters, including a 27-11 performance in the third.

Our Free NBA Picks are on an incredible run, so stay with us as we go for our seventh consecutive win and beyond! If you haven't yet, make sure to bookmark us to give yourself easier access to what is essentially free money. There will be more plays throughout the week, so stay tuned.

Going for Six Free NBA Pick Winners in a Row!

Thanks for waiting patiently to ride our hot Free NBA Picks, which have hit five in a row and are 19-9 on the year. We finally have another play tonight.

San Antonio Spurs -12 over the Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks still haven't pieced everything together yet, so we like Manu Ginobili and the Spurs at home in this one.

Good luck!

Sunday, February 24, 2008

Blackhawks are the Free NHL Pick Tonight

Our Free NHL Picks are hitting 80% this season, and we are looking to improve upon that once again tonight.

Chicago Blackhawks +1.5 over the Anaheim Ducks

The Blackhawks should have an edge over the no longer mighty Ducks tonight.

New Formula for Free NCAA Basketball Picks

After much deliberation, we decided yesterday that the Free NCAA Basketball Picks needed a little tweaking. As a result of our findings, we tinkered with the formula and let our statistical analysis reset to adjust to some noticeable trends and betting patterns that have been occuring this season.

We have hit over 60% in each of the last four college basketball seasons, and intend on yet again doing so this year. Historically, we recover from any losses during March Madness, where we are a cumulative 67% over the last four years.

On the plus side, the Free NBA Picks need no tweaking whatsoever, as they are hitting about 68%. We will continue to provide these NBA picks, as well as our adjusted NCAA Basketball Picks, for the low low price of absolutely free.

Another Big Game Tonight

We're told there's some other big game in college basketball today that we should bet on, and we will do just that. In the big Memphis vs. Tennessee match-up, we like it to go Over 156.

The number one and two teams in the nation both have prolific offenses, so there should be no shortage of scoring tonight.

Additionally, Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl (seen above) used to be the coach at UW-Milwaukee, who we like to cover the spread against Bradley in a Bracket Buster tonight. Is that a coincidence or another sign of two easy winners from Stock Lemon? I guess we'll see.

Good luck again.

Free Bracket Buster Pick

There's a big game in college basketball today that everyone's talking about, and it's UW-Milwaukee against Bradley in a Bracket Buster showdown. As with every big game, we have our winning pick ready to go.

UW-Milwaukee +10 over Bradley

As that random UW-Milwaukee fan might tell you, the Panthers have surprised the college basketball world this year, even without any real star players. They should at least cover against the Braves, if not win straight up.

This Bracket Buster is, of course, only a primer for March Madness, which we will cover extensively. Stay tuned.

Good luck!

Pistons Make it Five in a Row

With a 127-100 pounding of the Bucks, the Pistons gave our Free NBA Picks their fifth consecutive win, boosting the record to 19-9, or just about 68%. What's more, all three wins since the All-Star Game have been blowout victories, including tonight's easy cover of the -12 spread.

Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons took care of Charlie Villanueva and the Bucks without too much of a problem, and for all intents and purposes had this one won by halftime.

The Picks are hotter than ever, so check back daily as the winners keep on coming. As a matter of fact, go ahead and bookmark this page for the easiest access to the winners.

Friday, February 22, 2008

Pistons Have Good Value Tonight

Our Free NBA Picks are hitting nearly 67% at 18-9, including a four game winning streak, and we expect the streak to continue with another winner tonight.

Detroit Pistons -12 over the Milwaukee Bucks

These two teams met in Milwaukee on Wednesday and the struggling Bucks pulled out a surprise victory, so Chauncey Billups and the Pistons should be ready to extract revenge on Mo Williams and the Bucks as the teams head back to Detroit tonight.

Thursday, February 21, 2008

Blue Jackets Lift Free NHL Picks up to 80%

The Blue Jackets got their 200th win in franchise history with a 3-2 shutout victory over the Senators, but more importantly, they covered the +1.5 puck line to give our Free NHL Picks a 4-1 record.

Check back tomorrow as we get back to the NBA with a Free NBA Pick, which are undefeated since the All-Star Game.

Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Postponed

No wonder the Las Vegas casino we got out Free NCAA Basketball pick from thought this game would go under. It turns out that the Georgia Tech/Virginia showdown has been postponed due to a leak in the roof, which puts this game under by 153.5 points.

If the game is not played, it will be graded as no action.

UPDATE: This game has been officially cancelled.

Stock Lemon Makes Move at Trade Deadline

In honor of the NBA trade deadline, we decided that we might be able to benefit from a deadline deal of our own.

In a trade with a Las Vegas casino that shall remain nameless, we were able to pull this blockbuster off:

Vegas Casino gets:
Lemmy's fresh squeezed lemonade
Replica Lemmy Award trophy

Stock Lemon gets:
One free winning NCAA basketball pick
One free winning NHL puck line pick
Cash considerations

The winning picks we acquired are:
NHL: Columbus Blue Jackets +1.5 over the Ottawa Senators
NCAA Basketball: Virginia/Georgia Tech Under 153.5

We think we got the better of this deal, although Lemmy's fresh squeezed lemonade is rather tasty. Good luck with the free winners!

Wednesday, February 20, 2008

76ers Blow Out Knicks

Another Free NBA Pick, another blow out win for Stock Lemon. The 76ers jumped on the Knicks early and often in this one, doubling New York at halftime by a count of 72-36. The final score was 124-84, easily covering the mere -6 1/2 spread.

The blow out victory gives our Free NBA Picks an impressive record of 18-9, which is nearly 67%, including a perfect 2-0 following the All-Star Game.

Isiah Thomas looked ready to gauge his own eyes out, but he thought better of it when he realized that doing so would render him unable to visit Stock Lemon and get his free pick for the day.

Check back again tomorrow for yet another absolutely Free NBA Pick. It's all Isiah has to look forward to.

76ers Are the Pick Tonight

Our Free NBA Picks remain hot, hitting over 65%, and we have another play for you today.

Philadelphia 76ers -6 1/2 over the New York Knicks

As the trade winds blow, there's speculation that this could be Andre Miller's last game in Philly. Either way, we expect him and his current squad to drive all over Jamal Crawford and the Knicks.

Good luck!

Tuesday, February 19, 2008

Spurs Crush Bobcats

Our Free NBA Picks finally returned today, and once again, they did not disappoint. Our pick of the Spurs -11 over the Bobcats easily covered, as the Bobcats were held to just 65 points all game. The Spurs 31-16 rally in the fourth quarter helps our Free NBA Picks to a 17-9 record, which is over 65%.

Check back tomorrow for more free winners here at Stock Lemon.

Finally a Free NBA Pick

We haven't had a Free NBA Pick in a while due to the NBA All-Star Game taking over the weekend, but they're back tonight!

San Antonio Spurs -11 over the Charlotte Bobcats

We like Tim Duncan and the Spurs to dominate Emeka Okafor and the Bobcats and improve on our already impressive Free NBA Pick record of 16-9, which is 64%.

Good luck!

Happy President's Day!

What better way to celebrate President's Day than with a big ol' picture of our current Commander in Chief, George W. Bush. Before becoming boss of the country, he was boss of the MLB's Texas Rangers, and has always had a huge interest in sports.

Even though he's wearing a Nationals jacket above, a team we would probably never willingly bet on, we have a gut feeling that the President is a closet Stock Lemon follower.

If you don't want to celebrate this forgotten holiday with an image of Bush, we invite you to celebrate with our Free NHL Pick for the day.

Avalanche +1/5 over the Red Wings

Our Free NHL Picks are 3-0 and we like this one a lot today. The Avalanche should have the edge in the puck line today, and like our last three, might even take it straight up.

NBA All-Star Game on Bodog Live

We have yet to mention one of our favorite betting features, but since some people tend to get a little bored during all-star games, we thought the NBA All-Star Game would be the perfect time to let you in on our secret. We love in-game betting, and nobody has a better in-game betting tool than Bodog's aptly titled Bodog Live.

It's a fun and easy way to stay interested in an otherwise meaningless game, with instant payouts into your Bodog account as well as instant gratification. We've had some fun with this, betting on nearly every play during a game, and have made a little bit of money, although we do it mostly for fun than for cash.

If live betting isn't your thing (you're crazy), you can do some reading instead. The loyal Stock Lemon followers over at The Bucky Channel (who even have a link to us on their site) will have a live blog of the game that is worth checking out. Enjoy the game!

Bowyer Beats Mears

Clint Bowyer finished 24th in the Daytona 500 today, 13 spots ahead of Casey Mears, who finished at 37th. In our other bet, Tony Stewart was unable to hold his lead once again, as Ryan Newman (Newman!) was the surprise winner of the race, giving us a 1-1 NASCAR day.

Since the odds on Bowyer over Mears were +125, however, we came out with an extra 1/4 of a unit in our pockets.

NBA All-Star Game Free Picks

The NBA All-Star Game is finally here, and while we can't wait to resume betting on regular NBA games, we're excited about this one tonight.
We like Yao Ming and the Western Conference -5 1/2 over the Eastern Conference. This line should be way higher than six points, and we're going to go ahead and predict a blow out tonight.

Also, we're going to bet the over/under on this one, and we like Over 262. There is never any defense in these games, and players looking to showcase their skills will have every opportunity to do so.
So take the West -5 1/2 and over 262 points. Good luck!

Free NASCAR Picks for Daytona 500

We had no plays in any sports yesterday, but we're expecting a huge day today. Since we've done so well venturing out with our Free NHL Picks (3-0 so far), we decided to try out another new sport--NASCAR!

Today, of course, is the Daytona 500, and there are four favorites to win the race. Right off the bat, you can pretty much narrow it down to these four:

Dale Earnhardt Jr... 11/5
Tony Stewart... 4/1
Jeff Gordon... 5/1
Jimmie Johnson... 5/1

But who do you select in a group filled with talented drivers like this? You bet on the hungriest one of the four. Earnhardt Jr., Gordon, and Johnson won the race in 2004, 2005, and 2006, respectively. Tony Stewart had big leagues near the end of all those races, but could never finish the job. Well folks, this is Tony Stewart's year. At 4/1 odds, we like No. 20 to get it done today at Daytona.

Aside from our winning selection of Stewart, we also like a head-to-head matchup we found on Bodog. Clint Bowyer is underrated in this contest, and we like him straight up at +125 odds to finish ahead of Casey Mears. Good luck and enjoy the race!

Blue Jackets Cover

The Blue Jackets both covered and won straight up against the Detroit Red Wings Yesterday, giving our Free NHL Picks a perfect 3-0 record.

Stay tuned for more free picks, and get them while they're hot!

Take the Rookies Tonight

We've got a lot of picks out there tonight, and we've decided to go ahead and add another one. Although the NBA doesn't have any regular season games, the Rookies are playing the Sophomores in the annual game before the All-Stars play on Saturday.

Rookies +13 over the Sophomores.

We like the Sonics Kevin Durant and the rest of the rooks to, at the very least, cover the spread in this one, but winning straight up is not out of the question.

Back By Popular Demand

Our Free NHL Picks were a big hit yesterday, going 2-0, and we have another one today.

Columbus Blue Jackets +1.5 over the Detroit Red Wings

We like this play a lot, so go ahead and jump all over it. After all, we are undefeated in our hockey bets.

Ivy League Action!

The NFL is over and the NBA is on a break, but the Ivy League is still playing some quality basketball! If you haven't guessed, our Free NCAA Pick for the day happens to be between two of these booksmart schools, and you'd be smart to look up your local books for this line.

Cornell -5 over Harvard

We tend to think that we are smarter than both of these schools, are we're excited to prove just that tonight. We're also still angered that Stock Lemon University of Technology, or SLUT for short, was denied access to the Ivy League. Apparently they decided to go with South Harmon Institute of Technology over Lemmy's alma mater.

Good Luck!

NOTE: Although we ripped off the movie Accepted, we do not condone watching movies of this poor quality. Unless, of course, you are only watching the movie only to serve as a reference point for creating the logo of a fake school. Not to imply that the Stock Lemon University of Technology is not a real school or anything...

Free Picks Record Update

Here's an update on our records for the current season:

Free NBA Picks: 16-9; 64%

Free NHL Picks: 2-0; 100%

Free NCAA Basketball Picks: 1-1-1; 50%

Total Free Picks Record: 19-10-1; 66%

Keep checking back for more updates!

Oilers and Coyotes Cover

In our first Free NHL picks of the year, both the Edmonton Oilers and the Phoenix Coyotes not only covered, but also won straight up. The Coyotes took care of the Stars 5-2, while the Oilers edged the Sharks 3-2, giving our Free NHL Picks two quick and easy wins.

As far as our Free NCAA Basketball Pick, Rutgers lost to West Virginia by 18, which was exactly what the line was set at, giving us a push. We always think of pushing, or tying, as kissing our sister, but it was Valentine's Day so we'll allow it.

Stay with us for daily free picks from a variety of sports. Did we mention that they are completely free?

Free NCAA Basketball Pick As Well

Aside from bringing your our first Free NHL Picks, we've also got a solid Free NCAA Basketball Pick tonight. We've talked it over with Don Imus, and we're going to go with the Nappy Headed Bros tonight.

Rutgers +18 over West Virginia

This one looks real good to us tonight, so good luck!

Rare Free NHL Picks

With the NBA All-Star Game coming up, our hot Free NBA Picks will be forced to take a little break. Forutnately, there are alternatives. Although we don't usually bet on the NHL, we're doing just that with two Free NHL Picks today. For the picks, we'll use the puck line, which is not offered by every online sportsbook, so buyer beware.

Phoenix Coyotes +1.5 over the Dallas Stars

Edmonton Oilers +1.5 over the San Jose Sharks

Good luck on the first batch of Free NHL Picks--and don't forget to use your winnings to buy a last minute Valentine's Day gift.

Happy Valentine's Day From Lemmy

Here at Stock Lemon, we'd like to wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's day. We hope that, like Lemmy, you give your significant other a nice, big squeeze. For those of you without a Valentine, don't worry, Stock Lemon is always there for you with winning sports wagers and smart stock picks.

Be sure to check back later as we give you some more winners to help pay off that Valentine's Day present.

Love,

Stock Lemon

Raptors Cover Easily

Chris Bosh and the Raptors easily handled Vince Carter's Nets tonight, covering the -8 spread with a 109-91 victory. The Raptors triumph means yet another win for our Free NBA Picks, which are 16-9 in the last 25 games for a very solid 64% hit rate.

Even though the Raptors won by 18, it could have been much, much more if they didn't rest their key players with the game already sealed in the fourth quarter.

This turned out to be an easy win partly because the Raptors are better than the Nets and we knew it, but also partly because of Jason Kidd being traded--or at least thinking that he would be traded--to the Mavericks. As it turns out, he's not headed to Dallas just yet, but the teams were so close to striking a deal that the Nets didn't play their star point guard in this one.

Stay with us througout the week for more possible NBA plays , including bets on the NBA All-Star Game.

Raptors are the Free NBA Pick Tonight

Our Free NBA Picks are hitting about 63%, and we hope to continue our good fortune tonight with yet another play.

Toronto Raptors -8 over the New Jersey Nets

This line has great value all the way up to -10 for Chris Bosh and the Raptors, who look to shut down former Raptor Vince Carter tonight. Good luck!

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

Celtics Cover In Win Over Pacers

The Boston Celtics took care of the Indiana Pacers and the -4 1/2 point spread with a 104-97 victory tonight, giving the Free NBA Picks another win.

Ray Allen, seen above shooting over Jeff Foster, helped the Celtics to their fourth consecutive win without Kevin Garnett. Our picks are now hitting nearly 63% through 24 games.

Another Free NBA Pick

Our Free NBA Picks have hit a little bit of a rough spot but are still hitting about 61% this year, and there's a lot of value in tonight's play.

Boston Celtics -4 1/2 over the Indiana Pacers

We love this play, even if Kevin Garnett is still out for the Celtics, as they've won their last three without him anyways. Paul Pierce has been taking most of Garnett's workload and should have no problem with Danny Granger and the injury-riddled Pacers.

Good luck!

Monday, February 11, 2008

Free NBA Pick

Our Free NBA Picks are hitting nearly 64% and we look to improve on that again tonight with another pick.

Milwaukee Bucks -3 1/2 over the Los Angeles Clippers

Once again we are fading the dismal Clippers and we will continue to do so if it keeps putting money in our pockets, even if it means betting on a struggling team like the Bucks. The Bucks won the first meeting against Chris Kaman's Clippers on the road and they should fare even better at home, where they are a respectable 13-9 this season. Additionally, Michael Redd and Yi Jianlian are both back from injuries that have contributed to the team's recent struggles, so the full-strength Bucks should have a clear advantage tonight.

Democratic Presidential Candidate Wager

Here at Stock Lemon, we don't just bet on sports--we bet on anything that we think we can win money on. That's why we're throwing our hat into the political ring to bet on the 2008 Democratic nomination for the Presidential Election.

That being said, we're putting our money on Barack Obama to win this one. With odds currently at 5/8 for Obama to win, this is a bargain. The odds at Bodog are shifting by the minute as Obama rapidly becomes the clear-cut favorite over Hillary Clinton througout the state primaries, so get this one while you can.

Clinton will continue to shed tears as Obama makes a strong run at the presidency, while anyone with money on Obama will be shedding tears of joy--and will be using 100 dollar bills to wipe those sweet, victorious tears.

Pro Bowl Over Covers

Adrian Peterson and the NFC sqaud combined with the AFC to score a total of 72 points in this year's Pro Bowl, which was ten points above the over/under of 62.

We went 1-1 in our Pro Bowl picks this year, and while there's no shame in that, it was mostly just for fun. The real money is in the Free NBA Picks, which have been hot all year, so keep checking back for more winners in the NBA!

Free Pro Bowl Picks

We were hoping to provide you with plenty of prop bets to keep you busy on Pro Bowl Sunday, but Bodog must be all NFL-proped out, because they have nothing to offer.

As for the actual game, we like the Peyton Manning and the AFC -3 today over the NFC. The AFC has been superior to the NFC for the last few years, and the spread is usually at least a touchdown in favor of the AFC come Pro Bowl time.

We also like the teams to score over 62 points, since defense is usually non-existent in this game. Good luck!

76ers Cover

Andre Iguodala and the 76ers dominated Corey Maggette and the Clippers by a count of 101-80 tonight, giving the Free NBA Picks another winner. Philly made a mockery of the 6 1/2 point spread, crushing the Clippers early and often in this one.

The Free NBA Picks are hitting over 63%, and, if you're new to the site, they are indeed absolutely free. For the low, low price of nothing, we will continue to provide winning NBA picks throughout the season, so keep checking back for more!

For you football fans out there, don't forget that the NFL season isn't over yet, especially not here at Stock Lemon. If you're looking to lei your money on some Hawaiin football action, we'll have a few suggestions to fulfill your Pro Bowl betting needs.

Stay tuned!

Saturday, February 9, 2008

Two More Free NBA Picks

Our Free NBA Picks sre still hot, hitting 65% over the last 20 games, and our busy weekend continues with two more plays today.

Philadelphia 76ers -6 1/2 over the Los Angeles Clippers

Utah Jazz -11 over the Chicago Bulls

Samuel Dalembert and the Sixers have been playing better basketball lately and they are a good play as we continue to fade the Clippers.
As for the Jazz, Carlos Boozer and Co. should have no problem with the struggling Bulls. Good luck!

Friday, February 8, 2008

Lakers Cover

The Lakers held off a late push by the Magic and got the cover and the win tonight, pushing our Free NBA Picks to 13-5 in the last 18, which is over 72%.

We still have two Free NBA Picks pending results.

ETFC Up 7.26%

It's been a while since we've checked up on ETFC, but it hasn't been for its lack of success. We've been a little busy with our winning Free NBA Picks and random stories about high school kids who fake their own recruitment (see Kevin Hart), but we're still keeping an eye on ETFC, which we recommended to you a short time ago.

ETFC has gone up in each of the last four days, including 7.26% today, and is now up to $5.17. Not bad, considering we recommended it at $4.14. It's up $1.03 since our January 29th suggestion to buy it and continues to be a good short term and excellent long term option.

Three Free NBA Picks!

If you've been following our Free NBA Picks daily, you know that they've hit 12 of their last 17 for an astounishing 71%. You also know that we usually have one play per day, except for the rare instances when we have two. Today, however, we have a grand total of three Free NBA Picks! They are:
Los Angeles Lakers +1 1/2 over the Orlando Magic

Detroit Pistons -11 over the Portland Trail Blazers

and our play of the day...

Toronto Raptors -9 1/2 over the Los Angeles Clippers

As always, we put one unit on the regular plays and two units on our play of the day. To constitute as a play of the day, the computer must show a heavy advantage one way or the other, and our numbers show us that the Raptors should actually be favored by 14 1/2.

Chris Bosh and the Raptors should have a field day with the Clippers, who are in complete disarray at this point.

For our other picks, we feel pretty confident in Rasheed Wallace and the Pistons putting the up-and-coming Trail Blazers in their place tonight. Wallace spent a better part of his career in Portland, so there's extra motivation for anybody looking at some Rasheed Wallace prop bets.

Finally, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers should be the favorites in Orlando tonight. After losing a tough one to the Hawks the other night, Kobe and the Lake Show will get back on track at the expense of the Magic.

Good luck and enjoy the three play day!

Thursday, February 7, 2008

Rockets Cover For Another Free NBA Pick WIn

Yao Ming and the Rockets beat LeBron James and the Cavaliers 92-77 tonight, easily covering the 4 1/2 point spread, as we predicted. The win by the Rockets gives our Free NBA Picks an excellent record of 12-5 in their last 17, which is just under 71%!

Keep checking back for more winners!

Free NBA Picks Hitting 69%

Our Free NBA Picks have been hot, with a record of 11-5 in the last 16, and we have one play for today.

Houston Rockets -4 1/2 over the Cleveland Cavaliers

There's been some interesting line movement on The King vs. The Ming Dynasty matchup tonight, but none of it will matter in the end. Yao's Rockets should take care of LeBron's Cavs by more than 4 1/2 points, according to the numbers generated by our trusty computers.

Good luck and let's keep the hot streak going!

Lemmy Award Winner Beanieville Likes ETFC

Fresh off of receiving one of five available Lemmy Awards, Beanieville is now thinking like Lemmy. Beanieville likes ETFC as a long term option, and expects it to trade at around $20 to $30 in a year's time. Here's how he put it:

I'd like to buy a few shares and hold it for a long term investment. Company insiders recently bought nearly 500,000 shares of stock, expressing confidence in the longer term viability of the company.

If this company survives this mortgage lending mess and gets back on its feet, in a few years it'll be trading back in the 20-30's.

ETFC went up 2.45% today.

Kevin Hart to go Straight to the NFL

If you haven't heard the Kevin Hart saga yet, here are the cliffnotes: He's an offensive lineman from a Nevada high school who was first thought to be headed to Oregon to play football. Then, in dramatic fashion, he chose to play for California instead at a press conference in front of his high school. We'll let Deadspin catch you up on the rest:

It was discovered that neither school actually sent anybody to recruit him.

It was concluded that Hart was scammed by a con-man posing as a recruiter for the schools. The police had no information on the actual identity of the suspect.

Then, the police suddenly received plenty of information on the identity of the suspect when Hart himself admitted that he made everything up. Everything.

So what does Kevin Hart do for an encore? According to a source, Hart has decided to forego the college ranks altogether and enter the NFL Draft.

Citing his hero, Maurice Clarett, Hart stated that going straight to the NFL is "the smartest decision of my life." He will challenge the NFL rule which requires players to be three years out of high school before entering the league. Due to a technicality, many believe that the NFL will be forced to allow him entrance into the draft.

But that's not enough for Hart. Not only does he want to to be admitted to the draft, he also expects to chose which team he will play for. He told a source, "I'm either going to go to the Eagles with the 19th overall pick or making the Bills take me at 11."

Regardless of where he ends up playing, there's no question he comes with baggage. Who knows what this kid will do next.
