How Stock Lemon Picks a Kentucky Derby Winner

You may wonder what qualifications we have on horse racing, considering the Kentucky Derby tomorrow is our first foray into this spectacle.

Let's just say we have a bit of inside information...

If that doesn't get you excited for the 2010 Kentucky Derby, we don't know what will!

Stock Lemon's Kentucky Derby Horse Betting Debut

Welcome to the track, Lemmy! Did you really think we were going to let the Kentucky Derby pass without placing our bet on a horse? Given our history... you probably did.

But here we are, on the eve of the Derby, ready to join the horse betting community.

In the 2010 Kentucky Derby, we like Super Saver at 14-1 odds to come away with a win. We do think that the favorite, Lookin At Lucky, will place or at least show, but our bet is with Super Saver.

And while we have a tie in opportunity, let us just say that Super Saving is what you will do if you follow our picks throughout the summer. Between the 2010 World Cup and the MLB, we plan on having our best summer yet.

Good luck and let's earn some cash on Super Saver tomorrow!

Cardinals Give Us Free MLB Pick Win!

We'd like to say that we've had a ton of Free MLB Picks so far, but obviously, that just hasn't been the case this year. We anticipate them picking up, as we said, but it's more important that we pick up wins when we do have plays.

And we did that on Monday.

The Cardinals knocked of the Braves to put us at 1-1 for the year (can you believe we've only had two picks thus far?). It's looking like we'll have another pick by the end of the week, and maybe even two, so stay tuned.

Free MLB Pick Monday

Hopefully our Free MLB Pick system starts grinding picks out with a little more frequency, and hopefully it starts with a winner tomorrow. Here's our system play for Monday:

St. Louis Cardinals (ML -115) over the Atlanta Braves

Good luck!

Mock Lemon: 2010 NFL Mock Draft Results

In the end, you never know what's going to happen at the NFL Draft. But that can't stop you from trying.

Our Mock Draft netted a grand total of five correct picks. We nailed the first three (so did everyone else), including Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford going first overall to the Rams, and came away with the correct predictions for picks 17 and 19.

The bottom line is that it's a crapshoot, unlike our Free NFL Picks, which have hit at 61% over the last few years. A little early to be pimping our Free NFL Picks? Maybe so, but if you found us through the NFL Mock Draft, be sure to find us later when the stakes are a little higher.

We promise there won't be anything to mock.

The NFL Draft Wait is Almost Over

We've been teasing you for a while now, but tomorrow, finally, we will reveal our 2010 NFL Mock Draft.

We know it's been tough to wait while it seems like everyone and their mother's blog has already posted a mock draft, but hey, we're just trying to get you used to this new stretched out format.

In the meantime, it's never too early to start buying NFL tickets in anticipation of the new players that will be joining your favorite team. Lava Tickets has great deals for those of you who just can't wait for the season.

While you await our mock draft, check out the NFL mock drafts on the web and you'll see that they can't compare to our 100 percent accurate attempt.

With the First Pick in the 2010 NFL Draft...

We will get to our complete mock draft on Monday, but we won't leave you in suspense all weekend. The first pick in the 2010 NFL Draft will be...

Sam Bradford! Quarterback, Oklahoma.

Now the only problem is figuring out who will draft him.

Although the Rams currently hold that pick, there is a good chance that another team, namely Mike Holmgren and the quarterback collecting Browns, jumps at the opportunity to trade for the No. 1 overall pick and select Bradford.

Coming off of major shoulder surgery and given the success rate (or sometimes lack thereof) of quarterbacks selected in Round 1, Bradford isn't exactly a safe pick this year. Still, quarterbacks are hard to come by, and recent first rounders like Mark Sanchez, Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco leading their teams to playoff berths as rookies has to be in the back of everyone's mind. Especially bottom feeders like the Rams and Browns have been.

Like we said, the rest of our 2010 NFL Mock Draft is soon to follow. Stay tuned!

Are You Ready for the NFL Draft?

If you're like us, there's nothing you would rather be doing on a beautiful weekend in April than sitting indoors and watching a bunch of old men read names off of a piece of paper.

Quite frankly, we live for the NFL Draft. And, although the different format this year will cause us to be slightly more social toward the end of the weekend, we are still looking forward to the Draft. In a few days, we will post our mock draft, as we have in years past, and as always our picks will be 100 percent accurate (give or take 75 percent or so).

So stay tuned. With the start of the MLB and the NFL Draft here in April, we hope to shower you with free picks and free cash this month.

Our First Free MLB Pick of 2010 is in!

Here it is folks... the moment you've all been waiting for. The return of our Free MLB Picks!

This system has had a lot of success in the past three years, and we are excited to get it rolling again.

Rockies -1 1/2 over the Padres (+125)

Loving this play for a positive payout to start the season.

Good luck!

MLB is Here!

The MLB season kicked off last night in Boston, and Opening Day for many teams is today. Unfortunately, it will not be Opening Day for us--yet.

Our MLB systems usually take a few games to kick in, but when we start rolling out the picks we don't plan on stopping.

Make Stock Lemon your home for the 2010 MLB season!

Your 2010 NCAA Tournament Winner is...

After splitting the first two Final Four games, we are determined to finish the 2010 NCAA Basketball season with a bang. So, how will we end April Madness? By dancing with the team who brought us here.

We correctly picked Duke to advance to this point, and we're picking them to win it all.

Duke -7 over Butler

Good luck!
