Mets Win!

The Mets beat up on the Marlins, 7-2, giving us a Free MLB Pick win and improving our record to 1-1 on the young season.

As was pointed out in the comments (and can clearly be seen on that post) we accidently wrote ML instead of RL while we were hurrying to post our play. We took the run line for -135, which is about as high as we go as far as laying chalk. Since we posted the play as money line, though, that's how it will reflect in our record.

Since units are more important than the record in MLB, that's how we will keep our record. So today, we bet 2 units to win 1, so we went 1-0. Had we lost, we would be 0-2 on the day. I'm sure our smart followers will not have a problem figuring that out.

Sorry about the confusion. We will also try to post the chalk that we are laying on any given play in the future.

Either way, a win is a win, and it's good to have baseball back.

MLB is Back!

Tons of games today and we've got a two unit play we like.

New York Mets ML over the Florida Marlins

Good luck and play ball!

Let the Madness Continue

No it's not the NCAA Tournament, and no, it's not the NIT. It's the CBI! The brand new post-season tourney in NCAA Basketball concludes with the championship game today, and we've got a pick!

Tulsa -5.5 over Bradley

Our Free NCAA Picks are 9-3 in the last 12, so get them while they're hot!

Sunday, March 30, 2008

Memphis Covers!

Memphis handled Texas without much of a problem, unfortunately Kansas couldn't cover against Davidson, giving us a 1-1 day in NCAA Basketball. Still, since the Sweet 16 we are 9-3, which is 75%.

We've updated our bracket to help you place your bets for the Final Four on Saturday. We like a one-seed to win it all.

Baseball is Here!

Do you know what today is? Today marks the official opening to the 2008 MLB season! Well, unless you count the games the Oakland A's and Boston Red Sox played in Japan earlier last week, which were too early for us to bet on.

We've hit over 60% in MLB bets over the last three seasons, and plan on doing so again this year--and it all starts tonight.

With apologies to Braves starter Tim Hudson, we like the over in tonight's game.

Braves/Nationals OVER 8

Good luck and let's enjoy the season together!

Seattle is the Pick

We also have one Free NBA Pick tonight:

As is usually the case, it looks like our Free NCAA Basketball picks are hot just in time for March Madness.

Updated Bracket

Here's an updated March Madness bracket to help you make decisions on your Sweet 16 bets.

Finally a Free NBA Pick

With the excitement of the first rounds of the NCAA Tournament now a distant memory, we shift our focus back to our bread and butter--the Free NBA Picks.

The Free NBA Picks are a terrific 30-12 on the year, which is over 71%, and are 16-3 in the last 19 games. For those who haven't been following, you can check out the Free NBA Picks label on the right side of the site, which will show you every one of those picks. It's true, we've been that good.

Without further ado, here's the pick:

Memphis Grizzlies +8.5 over the Denver Nuggets

Good luck!

Sunday, March 23, 2008

Happy Easter!

We'd like to take a moment to wish everybody a Happy Easter! We had a rough day of NCAA Basketball yesterday, but are playing those games small and mostly for fun.

Our bread and butter--the Free NBA Picks--are still hitting 72% and should return soon.

In the meantime, go ahead and find those Easter baskets filled with eggs. Or in our case, lemons. Can you spot Lemmy?

Two more we like:

Davidson -2 over Gonzaga

Georgetown -16.5 over UMBC

More Tourney Bets

Here are two more we like:

Clemson/Villanova UNDER 146

NOTE: We got on that Siena line relatively early. It is down to about 6 or 6.5 at most books.

Keep the NCAA Tourney Picks Coming

We've got a rare underdog and an under for Friday's action.

Saint Joseph's Hawks +1 over Oklahoma Sooners

Boise State Broncos/Louisville Cardinals UNDER 148

North Carolina and Indiana Are Solid Bets

The trend continues, as we like two more favorites for tomorrow.

North Carolina -25 over Mount Saint Mary's

Plenty of Favorites on Friday

Favorites went 13-3 on Thursday, and we expect more of the same for Friday. That said, here are two more.

Memphis -25 over UT-Arlington

More Friday Tournament Picks

A couple more Friday Picks...

Texas -15 over Austin Peay

Saint Mary's -1 over Miami

More coming...

Friday's Tournament Picks

On Thursday, we were so jacked for the tourney to start that we posted all of our plays along with a nice little image the bracket that each team was in. After a long day of sitting around and doing nothing but watching NCAA Basketball, we're understandably a little worn down, therefore we will forego the pictures and get straight to the picks. Without further ado, here are the first couple:

South Alabama +4.5 over Butler

Tennessee -19 over American

Wisconsin Covers To Secure Winning Day

Wisconsin covered the eleven point spread in their first round NCAA Tournament game against Cal State Fullerton, giving us a winning day on the first "real" day of the Tournament.

We've posted a cleaned up and updated version of our tournament bracket for your convenience, updated to include all of Thursday's winners.

We will be posting our picks for Friday's action momentarily.

Thursday, March 20, 2008

Tourney Picks Are on Fire

Our Free NCAA Picks for the NCAA Tournament are now 6-2-1, which is 75%, to start the tourney.

Stanford covered the fourteen point spread over Cornell, giving us our latest victory.

Kent State and UNLV gave us our first push of the tourney, finishing at exactly 129.

Enjoy the night games!

Marquette Covers for 5-0 Tourney Start!

Marquette covered the six point spread against Kentucky, giving us a tourney record of 5-0 through the first five games!

Keep coming back and we'll keep picking winners!

4-0 Start to the Tourney!

After a 1-0 start on Tuesday in the play-in game, we won our first three games on Thursday for an impressive 4-0 start to the NCAA Tournament!

Here's the recap from today's early action:

Kansas covered the -22.5 point spread against Portland State

Michigan State and Temple went under 136 points

Xavier covered the -7 spread against Georgia

We're off to a great start, and we hope to continue this success throughout the tourney. For those who have asked, we are playing each one of these games for one unit. It's just enough to make the games more fun and make a little money in the process!

Good luck with your brackets and enjoy the non-stop action!

Two Favorites to Round out the Thursday Action

The last two picks for Thursday's games:

Marquette -6 over Kentucky

Stanford -14 over Cornell

Good luck today!

Oral Roberts and an Under

Two more plays:

Oral Roberts +9 over Pittsburgh

Michigan State/Temple Under

Two more picks on their way...

BYU and an Over

We have some more picks for the NCAA Tournament games on Thursday, so here they are:

UCLA/Mississippi Valley State OVER 123

BYU +2.5 over Texas A&M

A few more are on the way.

A Quick Note

Although it is March Madness and all of the focus is on our Free NCAA Picks for the NCAA tournament, we will still have Free NBA Picks if they fit the system.

Those picks are hitting 72%, so we understand if you're waiting on them, but this weeks card has been pretty tame. There should be at least one or two this weekend, though.

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

Kansas and an Under

A couple of more picks for the Thursday NCAA Tournament games:

Kansas -22.5 over Portland State

UNLV/Kent State UNDER 125

As always, good luck!

Arizona and an Over

Two more picks from the same region:

Arizona +2 over West Virginia

Duke/Belmont OVER 154

Let the madness continue...

Baylor and Xavier the Plays

Onto the other side of the NCAA Tournament bracket...

Baylor +2.5 over Purdue

Xavier -7 over Georgia

More Free NCAA Picks to come...

George Mason and an Under

In our next couple of Free NCAA Picks for Thursday's NCAA Tournament action, we have our first underdog as well as our first under.

George Mason +7 over Notre Dame

Washington State/Winthrop UNDER 113

These will keep on trickling in throughout the next few days, so stay tuned and try to keep track!

Wisconsin and USC to Start the Madness

Here's our first batch of Free NCAA Picks for the NCAA tournament for Thursday's games.

Wisconsin Badgers -11 over Cal State Fullterton Titans

USC Trojans -2.5 over Kansas State Wildcats

We understand lines can move one way or another, but we're on these early. More to come, of course.

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

Mount Saint Mary's Covers!

The Mount Saint Mary's Mountaineers defeated the Coppin State Eagles 69-60 in the play-in game of the NCAA Tournament, advancing to play North Carolina on Friday.

More importantly, the nine point victory covered the seven point spread, giving us a win in our first of many Free NCAA Picks during March Madness.

If you haven't already heard, we'll have a play on every single game during the tournament, and it's good to get off to a 1-0 start. Stay with us as we, again, have a play on every single game of the tournament. Oh yeah, and the picks are free.

If you haven't done so, go ahead and check out our bracket for to guide you through the tournament.

Play-In Game Pick

Our first pick Free NCAA Pick of March Madness is tonight in the play-in game. Coppin State is the first 20 loss team to make the tournament and they shouldn't be too much trouble for Mount Saint Mary's. The Mountaineers should enter the field of 64, earning a chance to take down the overall number one seeded North Carolina Tar Heels.

Mount Saint Mary's -7 over Coppin State

Let's get off to a good start tonight!

Monday, March 17, 2008

Start Filling Out Those Brackets!

March Madness is finally here, and Lemmy's got you covered. Stock Lemon will celebrate March Madness with one Free NCAA Basketball Pick on every single game!

If you haven't printed out a bracket yet, feel free to use the official Stock Lemon bracket shown above.

Our first pick is coming, so stay tuned!

Saint Patrick's Day NBA Action

We have some NBA action today on Saint Patrick's Day, so don't start drinking the green beer until after you put a nice wager on this one. Unfortunately, Lemmy didn't take our advice, and he's looking more like Limey than his usual self.

Cleveland Cavaliers/Orlando Magic OVER 202 1/2

Whenever LeBron James and Dwight Howard get together, expect a high scoring ball game.

Just to remind everyone, our Free NBA Picks are 30-11 on the season, which is 73%, and are 16-2 in the last 18 games.

Happy St. Patrick's Day and good luck!

BREAKING NEWS: Play-In Game Set

Mount Saint Mary's will play Coppin State in the play-in game on Tuesday to kick off March Madness.

Our Updated Free NCAA Basketball Picks system is hitting 75% with a game pending, and we will have a play on every single game during the NCAA tournament. It might be a team against the spread, it might be the over/under, but whatever the case, there will be a play on every game.

Remember to make Stock Lemon your March Madness betting destination.

Arkansas The Pick

We are 5-0 in any basketball picks over the last two days, and have won back-to-back Free NCAA Picks. Here's our play today.

Arkansas -7 1/2 over Georgia

The game starts in a couple of hours, so get on this one while you still can! Good luck!

Saturday, March 15, 2008

Clemson and the Nets Both Win Outright

We bet on two underdogs tonight against the spread, and they both went ahead and won outright, giving us a 2-0 day. This perfect day follows yesterdays perfect 3-0, making us 5-0 overall in the last two days.

In our Free NCAA Basketball Pick, Clemson knocked off Duke 78-74, giving us back-to-back wins in NCAA Basketaball. Since our last tweaking of the NCAA Basketball system, we've won three of four.

As for our Free NBA Pick, the Nets took care of the Jazz on their home floor 117-115, giving us our third straight win in the NBA. Overall, the Free NBA Picks are now 30-11, which is over 73%. In the last 18 games, our Free NBA Picks are an even more amazing 16-2.

Everything is running smoothly here at Stock Lemon, so hopefully you're along for the ride and making some cash along the way.

NBA and NCAA Basketball Picks Today

We've got two underdogs today, one in the NBA and one in NCAA Basketball.

Our Free NBA Pick (29-11, 73%) today is the New Jersey Nets +5 over the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz are playing their fourth game in five days, and the Nets play well at home. We'll take the Nets and the points.

Our Free NCAA Basketball Pick is Clemson +4 1/2 over Duke.

Good luck!

Friday, March 14, 2008

Sonics and Timberwolves Go Over for 3-0 Day

Al Jefferson's Timberwolves beat Kevin Durant's Sonics 121-116 Saturday night, scoring a total of 237 points in the game. Those 237 points were about 38 1/2 more than we needed to cover the cover.

This win gives us a perfect 3-0 night, with our Free NBA Picks going 2-0 and our Free NCAA Basketball Picks going 1-0.

Through our first 40 games of the NBA season, Our Free NBA Picks have gone an impressive 29-11, which is an astounishing 73%. In the last 17 games, the picks are 15-2, or 88%. We'll keep the free winners coming so long as you keep on coming back.

Pistons Cover, too

We had posted a lean on the Pistons -2.5 over the Spurs earlier tonight, but were orignally unsure if we would make it a Free NBA Pick. After mulling over the figures for a little while and configurating the data from our computer, we decided to make it an official play.

Hopefully everyone was either able to take this pick based on our original lean, or they noticed the update at the bottom of the post, because Detroit got the job done. Rip Hamilton and the Pistons were able to blow by Tony Parker and the Spurs, 84-80, giving us another Free NBA Pick win.

The win boosts our record to 28-11, or 72%. That also makes the picks 14-2 in their last 16.

Pittsburgh Covers

The Pittsburgh Panthers beat the Marquette Golden Eagles 68-61, easily covering the +2 1/2 point spread given to them.

Although our Free NCAA Basketball Picks are hitting just 50% over the last week, we have full confidence in our picks as March Madness approaches.

NBA Action Tonight, Too

In addition to our Free NCAA Basketball Pick tonight, we have a Free NBA Pick as well.

Minnesota Timberwolves/Seattle SuperSonics OVER 198.5

As we've mentioned, in order for over/unders to be considered Free NBA Picks, they have to be really strong leans in our system, so this is a fairly large play. According to our calculations, the over/under for this game should be closer to 210.

With a lot of young scoring talents like Kevin Durant, as well as Al Jefferson and Earl Watson pictured above, these two teams should light up the scoreboard.

Our Free NBA Picks are 27-11 this season, which is a very good 71%, and are 13-2 in the last 15. We just had a five game winning streak snapped, and an eight game win streak before that, so we're looking to start another winning streak with this over.

We also have a small lean on the Detroit Pistons -2.5 over the San Antonio Spurs, but are not sure if we will include it as a Free NBA Pick. Look into this game for yourself, and if you like it, play it at your own risk. We will be out all evening, but we will try to throw in an update as to whether or not it is a Free NBA Pick tonight.

UPDATE: We have decided to make the Pistons -2.5 a Free NBA Pick, so play it with confidence. We know the game tips off in about 15 minutes, but this is the quickest we could get to a computer with this update, so forgive us if you didn't get enough time to play this one.

Pittsburgh To Take Care of Marquette Tonight

We have one play in NCAA Basketball for today.

Pittsburgh +2 1/2 over Marquette

Marquette has struggled in tournament play over the last few years, and we don't see them getting to the finals. Pittsburgh should roll tonight.

Good luck!

Thursday, March 13, 2008

Florida the Pick Tonight

We have another Free NCAA Basketball Pick today and it is a decent value.

Florida -3 over Alabama

Florida really has to make some noise in the conference tourney if they want to punch a ticket to the big dance, so they'll have to take care of Alabama tonight. If that's not enough reason to put some money on the Gators, consider that ESPN sideline reporter Erin Andrews went to Florida. Although that's an irrelevant fact to this game, she's hotter than our Free NBA Picks, so we'll throw a picture of her up anyways.

March Madness is fast approaching! Good luck!

Cal Covers

California beat Washington by three yesterday, barely covering the two point spread, giving us a mediocre 1-1 day in NCAA Basketball.

We look to improve on that with a pick coming very shortly.

Wednesday, March 12, 2008

Cavs Go For Six Straight

In addition to two Free NCAA Basketball picks, we have a Free NBA Pick tonight as well, for a total of three plays.

Cleveland Cavaliers -5 over the New Jersey Nets

The Nets have lost six in a row, while our Free NBA Picks have won five in a row. We like our odds. LeBron James should go off on the Nets in this one, with Bostjan Nachbar and the Nets simply watching The King work his magic.

While our Free NCAA Basketball Picks aren't quite where we want them to be, our Free NBA Picks have been on fire. Here are the numbers on our NBA picks again just for re-assurance.

Overall Record: 27-10
Winning Percentage: 73%
Last 14 Games: 13-1
Last 14 Games Winning Percentage: 93%
Current Streak: W5

Good luck!

Two NCAA Basketball Plays Tonight

We still have a little bit of polishing to do to our Free NCAA Basketball system, which usually struggles a little during conference tournaments before bouncing back in the NCAA tournament. That being said, these are small plays today. Judging by the results of tonight's games, we'll be able to tell if we are ready for March Madness or not.

Marshall Thundering Herd -2 over the Tulane Green Wave

California Golden Bears -2 over the Washington Huskies

Good luck!

Tuesday, March 11, 2008

Impressive NBA Run Continues

The Blazers used a 26-17 fourth quarter to beat the Timberwolves by seven, 103-96, and to cover the two point spread.

The Blazers win gives our Free NBA Picks their fifth win in a row and their current record now stands at 27-10, which is about 73%. What's more, the picks are an amazing 13-1 in their last 14 games.

You'll be hard pressed to find any hotter NBA picks on the web, so keep coming back to Stock Lemon for more winners.

Blazers Going For Five In a Row

We've got a pretty strong play tonight in the NBA, and we're hoping to make it five straight for our Free NBA Picks. Overall, we are 26-10, which is over 72%, and have hit 12 of our last 13.

Portland Trail Blazers -2 over the Minnesota Timberwolves

The Blazers have been struggling as of late, but the T-Wolves have been struggling as of all year. This Blazers should be favored by much more than two points tonight. Brandon Roy was originally drafted by Minnesota, and we expect his Blazers to run all over Corey Brewer and Co.

Good luck!

Cleveland St. is the Pick

We have another Free NCAA Basketball pick today as we continue to prepare for March Madness.

Cleveland State +10 over Butler

Getting double-digit points in a conference championship game is always a plus, and we'll take those points with Cleveland St. tonight. It'll be hard for Butler to beat them three times this season, as it is for any team to beat an opponent on three seperate occasions.

We also like the motivation factor for Cleveland St. If they lose this game, their season is over. If Butler loses, they're the 12th ranked team in the country, so an at-large bid in the tourney is waiting for them just in case. Cleveland St. has much more to play for.

Good luck!

Monday, March 10, 2008

Gonzaga and San Diego Under Tonight

March Madness is here! Well, almost here. Before the big tournament we've got a nice play on a conference championship tonight.

Gonzage/San Diego Under 128

This should be a low scoring game out west, with two of the conferences better defenses matching up. Good luck!

Sunday, March 9, 2008

No Plays Today

There are no plays in either the NBA or NCAA Basketball today, as our system doesn't have a strong lean one way or another.

Be sure to check back tomorrow, though, when we should either have another Free NBA Pick (which are hitting over 72% this year) or a Free NCAA Basketball Pick to make sure our system is ready for March Madness.

Saturday, March 8, 2008

Wizards and Bobcats Make it Four in a Row

It was way to close for comfort, but in the end the Wizards and Bobcats pulled out a miracle cover, going over 196 points by one point in a crazy finish that gives us our fourth straight Free NBA Pick win.

Things were looking bleak with 35 seconds remaining when the Bobcats led 90-84 for a total of just 174 points. From there, however, the Wizards perfectly executed the foul and chase, and the two teams combined to score 24 points in 35 seconds. The Bobcats won the game 100-97 after Matt Carroll hit a free throw to give us the cover. Indeed, the NBA is where amazing happens.

Speaking of amazing, the win gives our Free NBA Picks an overall record of 26-10 on the year, which is over 72%. The Picks are also 12-1 in the last 13, including the aforementioned current four game streak.

While we might have had a little bit of luck on our side tonight, there's no question that these Free NBA Picks are on absolute fire, so keep checking back and we will keep rewarding you for doing so with our picks. For free.

It might be hard to read, but pictured above is the play-by-play from the last 35 seconds of this miracle cover. The bold indicates a score.

Wizards Over the Pick Again Tonight

There must be something about these Washington Wizards.

We mentioned yesterday how infrequently our computer deamed over/unders to be legitimate Free NBA Picks, but we now have our second such play in as many days. And once again, it's a Wizards game.

Washington Wizards/Charlotte Bobcats Over 196

Our Free NBA Picks are hitting over 71% this season and have hit 11 of the last 12, so make this pick with confidence.

Friday, March 7, 2008

Wizards and Raptors Get the Job Done

Although we were unaware that Chris Bosh would be sitting prior to posting this play, it just goes to show how strong an over/under has to be in order to be considered for a Free NBA Pick.

With Bosh watching this one, the Raptors and Wizards managed to score 216 points, which is 24 more than we needed. A 56 point fourth quarter sealed the deal, and then the two teams added 18 points in overtime just to be safe.

The win tonight makes it 11 winners in the last 12 games for our Free NBA Picks, bumping them to 25-10 overall, which is over 71%. Stay tuned for more free picks, particularly in the NBA, where our unbelievable winning streak happens.

Wizards and Raptors and Lemons... Oh My!

Our Free NBA Picks are 24-10 this year, hitting 71%, including a current hot streak of 10-1 in the last 11. We have one medium sized play today.

Washington Wizards/Toronto Raptors Over 192

Our system doesn't usually grind out a lot of over/unders unless there is great value on the board, so look for a lot of scoring from Chris Bosh and the Raptors against the Wizards.

Good luck!

BREAKING NEWS: Strahan to Retire From Giants

We don't typically break this type of news, but this is too big for us to pass up. A source close to both the New York Giants and Michael Strahan has informed us that the Giants defensive end will not return for another season in 2008.

While the official announcement is not expected for at least a couple of weeks, our source indicated that Strahan has already told the team that he will not be back. Per the source, Strahan telephoned head coach Tom Coughlin to inform him of his decision, but will wait to take it public.

This news comes on the same day that another legend, Packers quarterback Brett Favre, officially called it quits. Perhaps Strahan saw the emotional press conference Favre held earlier today and decided that he is ready to hang them up after knocking off the Patriots to earn his first career Super Bowl ring.

Maybe Favre is also the reason why Strahan will wait to break the news. Favre gift-wrapped a sack for Strahan back in 2002, allowing the Giants legend to break the record for sacks in a single season. Maybe Strahan is simply letting Favre enjoy his moment in the limelight.

The Giants have lost a few key players in free agency, and Strahan will be difficult for the defending champs to replace.

The Shockers are the Pick

We're getting ready for March Madness with a Free NCAA Basketball Pick tonight.

Wichita State Shockers +1.5 over the Indiana State Sycamores

Wichita State has been playing better late in the year, and should pull of a shocker tonight against the Sycamores.

No Plays Today

There was a lot of action in the NBA as well as in NCAA Basketball, but there were no picks that qualified in our strict system, which is hitting 71% in the NBA.

We've said it before and we'll say it again--we won't post plays just for the sake of posting plays. When we do have picks, we make sure they have an excellent chance at winning.

There should be a play tomorrow, we are just waiting for the line to come out. So remember to check back again tomorrow. We'll see you then!

Lakers and Suns Cover for 2-0 Day

Another day, another winner. Wait... make that two winners.

In our first Free NBA Pick, the Lakers fought back from a double-digit deficit against the Kings, using a 36-18 fourth quarter to put Sacramento in their place. Kobe Bryant scored 17 points in the deciding quarter, leading the Lakers to a 117-105 victory and covering the six point spread.

Then, about 20 minutes prior to tip-off, we added a Bonus Free NBA Pick, which ended up being a reward for the readers who check us out most often. We try to get these picks in as early as possible, but there was a lot of analysis to be done before we could determine the Suns a Free NBA Pick, and we posted it as soon as we could.

The Suns got on the Blazers early, leading 60-41 at the half, and although they let Portland get back in it, they still pulled out a 97-92 win to cover the two point spread.

When all was said and done, we ended up with a 2-0 day. Our Free NBA Picks remain insanely hot, hitting 10 of the last 11. Overall, they are now 24-10, which is roughly 71%.

We hope you were riding these picks with us today, but if you weren't, fear not, we'll have more free picks in the coming days. Get them while they're hot!

Bonus Free NBA Pick

After further research, we are adding a bonus Free NBA Pick. We rarely have more than one play, but we like the value of this pick.

Phoenix Suns -2 over the Portland Trailblazers

in addition to our previous pick

Los Angeles Lakers -6 over the Sacramento Kings

The Shaquille O'Neal trade the Suns made earlier this year will finally begin to look like a great decision tonight, as will betting on the Suns. We like both of these faves, so good luck and enjoy the rare two play night.

Lakers are the Pick Tonight

Our Free NBA Picks, as you can tell from our updated records post, are 22-10 and have won eight of nine, and we have another gem tonight.

Los Angeles Lakers -6 over the Sacramento Kings

We like Kobe Bryant and the Lakers to cover this one fairly easily tonight. Good luck!

Records Update

Just thought we'd update everyone on our records for the sports that are currently in season. These are only the results for our most recent systems, one of which is still in its infancy (NCAA Basketball).

Free NBA Picks: 22-10... 69%
Our NBA Picks have been on fire lately, hitting eight of their last nine after our eight game winning streak was finally snapped.

Free NCAA Basketball Picks: 2-1... 67%
We finally have the system back to where it needs to be and are looking forward to a profitable month.

Free NHL Picks: 4-2... 67%
We usually only bet on hockey on slower days, mainly because we bet on puck lines, which not a lot of books offer. We figure that if they aren't doing our readers any good, why post them? Nevertheless, we've had some success with those, although it sometimes requires laying a little bit of wood.

As you can see we've been consistent and we've been profitable for our followers, so bookmark us or tell your friends or set us as your homepage--anything to prevent you and yours from missing out on our reliable and successful picks. Which, by the way, are free.

God Bless Saint Mary

We don't often mix religion with our sports betting services, but there must have been a higher power at work tonight--and that higher power is our Free NCAA Basketball Picks.

St. Mary's beat Portland 64-50, covering the 13-point spread by... let's see, 14-13... one point! Our Free NCAA Basketball Picks have won two of three since our latest statistical update on the system, and it looks like these picks are ready for a profitable tournament run again this year.

The random St. Mary's player pictured was not hurt in the game, but rather in celebration of yet another cover by Stock Lemon. It's a shame that he pulled a Bill Gramatica, but fear not, our Free NCAA Basketball Picks also have the power to heal.

The picks will keep on coming, and we hope you do as well.

Working out the NCAA Basketball Kinks

We think our Free NCAA Basketball Picks system is getting closer to where we had it last year, but it likely won't be completely ready until the tournament. Nevertheless, we have a small one unit play on some small schools tonight.

St. Mary's Gaels -13 over the Portland Pilots

Going for Nine in a Row Tonight

We're hitting 71% and are on an exceptional eight game winning streak in the NBA, and we hope to make it nine tonight.

Minnesota Timberwolves -7 over the Seattle SuperSonics

The T-wolves record might not show it, but this team plays hard and shouldn't have a problem picking up a W and the cover against the Sonics tonight. Al Jefferson should be watching a lot of his own highlights on the jumbotron tonight.

Let's go get nine in a row!

Bucks Cover Makes it Eight in a Row!

The Bucks weren't able to pull out a victory at home against the Spurs tonight, but they're winners in our books. Since they lost by just two points, they covered the +6 1/2 point spread, giving us our eighth consecutive Free NBA Pick victory.

These picks are on an unbelievable hot streak, and are now 22-9 overall, which is an impressive 71%. We look to continue this success throughout the month of March, so stay with us as we bring you more winners--for free!

Arkansas is the Pick Today

The game tips off shortly, so we thought we'd get our pick in quick.

Arkansas Razorbacks -6 1/2 over the Vanderbilt Commodores

We do not have any Free NBA Picks as of yet, but we are strongly considering the Milwaukee Bucks +6 1/2 over the San Antonio Spurs. We have a busy day of paperwork in front of us and may not be able to make it back to a computer before the game, so simply consider it a strong lean and look into the game further on your own.

Good luck!

UPDATE: We are taking the Milwaukee Bucks as an official Free NBA Pick tonight. Good luck and let's get eight in a row!

Mavs and Kings Make it Seven Straight!

The Mavericks and Kings combined for 221 points tonight, a good 19 points above the over/under of 202.

The Mavs won the game 115 to 106, but there are more important numbers than the final score of the game. With the performance tonight, Jason Kidd's Mavs and Beno Udrih's Kings helped us win our seventh consecutive Free NBA Pick, improving our record to 21-9 on the year. For you math buffs out there, that's exactly 70% in the NBA this season.

If you haven't been following yet, what are you waiting for? We've proven ourselves as reliable and profitable, so make it your March resolution to start following Stock Lemon.
